The EdTech Report is written by Rizvan Ali, who is responsible for any personal data described here. You can get in touch at hello@theedtechreport.com.

This website

This is a static website with no analytics or advertising scripts of its own, and it sets no cookies.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

The newsletter

Newsletter signups are processed by beehiiv, the platform that sends the newsletter. The signup form on these pages is loaded from beehiiv.

When you subscribe, beehiiv processes your email address and subscription and engagement data on our behalf. That includes when you signed up, where you signed up from, and whether emails are delivered, opened or clicked. beehiiv’s signup form may also use its own cookies or similar technology, for example to block spam signups.

Our lawful basis is your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click. You can also email us to be removed. We don’t sell or share subscriber details. See beehiiv’s privacy policy for how beehiiv handles data.

If you email hello@theedtechreport.com, we keep your email address and message so we can reply. We don’t sell or share them. Email us at any time and we will delete them.

Links to other sites

We link to sites such as GOV.UK, JCQ, X and beehiiv. They have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@theedtechreport.com. If you’re unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the ICO.
